SteelSeries and friends want to send you to BlizzCon

They've done it before, and they want to do it again. SteelSeries, J!NX, BradyGames and Cryptozoic Entertainment are looking to send lucky contest winners to this year's BlizzCon. In addition to the grand prize, there will be 20 winners of other prize packages including murloc plush toys, J!nx gift certificates and more listed here. Head over to the BlizzCon Sweepstakes page and see if you're eligible, then enter by Oct. 2. It's so simple even I could do it.
And please don't forget the official WoW Magazine's contest, ending this Thursday, Sept. 30. Might as well try them both, right?

As you would expect - this is restricted to America. EU etc players dont even bother to try to apply. To all US players Good Luck!
@Mr Rossi
Could I ask for the geographical restrictions to be refered to in the article please? It would save a lot of readers time in clicking to the site - finding and reading the restrictions. A simple "This is for US players only" or "This is a world wide promotion" or something similar (and appropriate to the contest) would more than suffice.
Many Thanks
Oh and lastly - please dont take me wrong - I am not complaining 'Oh no the contest is for US only boo hoo', just commenting as to how i think Mr Rossi could make the article a little more useful for other players round the world. I think its great ppl get the chance to enter wow related competitions in the US and wish someone in the EU would start doing the same - there has to be a PR/Advertising oppertunity there somewhere for some brave advertiser.

Yes, a comment about geological restrictions would be helpful :D I just got all excited and went to look at the Terms and Conditions, only to find out I'm not eligible to enter.
I can understand why though - not every company can afford to include return flights from, say, England, in their grand prize. I'm not too disappointed, since the restriction is understandable, but I did get a little excited for nothing :P
Well, at least we've still got the results of the Writing Contest to wait for! :D

Hey SteelSeries! How about rather than sending people to Blizzcon you fix your shoddy MMO gaming mouse and it's god-awful software and drivers!

My wife has the Warcraft themed Steelseries mouse, and her only complaint about it so far (after nearly a year of use) is that the "steel grey" paint has worn off the mouse buttons, revealing the bare white plastic below. Other than that, shes had minimal issue with it.

Signed up for both. That would be awesome to win, but alas I never win anything, so not getting my hopes up.
The WoW magazine announces the winner on Oct 4. I never did see when the winner for this contest would be announced.

I agree I never win at these things either

"Prize Conditions: ... If a Canadian citizen wins a prize they will be required to answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question."
Awesome, y/y?

I believe Canada has a rule about only being able to win sweepstakes prises based on skill. I'm not positive, though.
Lemons Sep 29th 2010 1:47AM
That means they'll ask you "what's 2+2?", give you the tickets, and then flip the bird to the retarded Canadian government.
humanporkrind Sep 28th 2010 11:57AM
I already one it all so everyone don't bother applying for the contest.

They always say they WANT me to go to blizzcon, yet they never let me.
So many broken promises.....
Kamare Sep 28th 2010 8:14PM
I keep getting a "DB Conn Error!" when trying to enter
