Tuesday Morning Post: A farewell to portals edition

There have also been a bunch of wild rumors flying around about Cataclysm's release date. First, Amazon.com started sending out bunches of emails about release date changes which put the release at late November, and now there are rumors of a December release. Of course, they're all rumors; only Blizzard knows for sure, and it isn't talking. Still, 4.0.1 is on the PTR, and the background downloader is chugging away, so it feels like we're on the home stretch, regardless.
Maintenance this week consists of rolling restarts at 5 a.m. Pacific time, although a small handful of servers will get the normal 5-11 a.m. downtime. No matter which server you're on, there was a whole lot of interesting news from the live servers, from the beta servers and from the PTR in the past 7 days -- so how about catching up on it right now?

I think a decent compromise would be to simply restrict access to portals.
Either minimum lvl requirment, like the city portals to go back to Blasted Lands/Dark Portal or make some people are unable to reach them. Some ideas...
Shattrath: The City of Light Quest (lvl 60) the tour of the city, also gives access to portals.
Dalaran: As above or place them on tower platforms only accessible via flying.
That would make them unusuable to low levels, without placing undue burden on higher level characters. As a casual player, I really prefer not to waste and spend a lot of time traveling once I get flight path/portal access established.

Not surprised that Blood Pact is yet again missing from the Class News Section.
Why oh why is it so hard to find a Warlock writer!

Look buddy you can argue this all you want but the fact is you wrote what you wrote and it's too late to deny it. Yes, we would all like to see more models and animation in various parts of the game. That is not an excuse to post a paragraph of though claiming what you did.
Let me educate you in case you check this post again. When WoW was first released they had exceeded what was the norm at the time for the very things you are complaining about. Hell the upcoming expansion which is in part addressing your very complaints.
