Cataclysm live beta stream and Choose My Adventure polls
Choose the adventures of our bloggers as we level our characters in <It came from the Blog> on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H).
Note: The stream is of the Cataclysm beta. It and the chat below are full of spoilers. You have been warned.
Update: The stream is now over. The still above links to the video of the stream. Thank you for watching!
Hello and welcome to the live version of Choose My Adventure (beta edition). The winner of the polls was Peenk the gnome priestess, so I will be continuing her adventures today. Join me after the break while I narrate, read quests and take requests from the chat room. The show will run for at least an hour and be viewable on video, if you weren't able to watch it live.
The schedule for all of our adventurers can be found on Monday's post, and the polls for this week are after the break.

You voted for Gregg Reece to take Sandwichdoc adventuring in the dungeons.
Lisa Poisso's proofreading druid, Prupher, would like you to name her prairie dog.
As usual, if they actually allow us to play a worgen female before the next stream, I'll be streaming a worgen druid next week. Otherwise, please choose my next character.
Please join us on Zangarmarsh (US-PvE-H) in <It came from the Blog>. Guild ranks of "Blog Lurker" or above can invite, so /whisper Robiness or any online member. You are all welcome as long as you play by our simple rules -- basically, don't be a funsucker! Visit the guild FAQ for more details.

Sorry, but Robinemia seems like some sort of disease, couldn't pick that.
Faith Trust Sep 29th 2010 1:54PM
It's probably the name of a mutated forsaken disease ...i mean they are dead after all..
Natsumi Sep 29th 2010 4:09PM
I have been reading that name wrong for the longest time, I keep reading it as Robinema :p
Bronwyn Sep 29th 2010 6:05PM
Isn't that kind of the point?
Xaklo Sep 29th 2010 1:41PM
Nooooooooooooooooo gnome priests! It burns my eyes!!!
Kurtis Sep 29th 2010 2:34PM
Must be the Shadow Word: Pain.
Natsumi Sep 29th 2010 2:46PM
Peenk owns you all!
Brendan Sep 29th 2010 2:46PM
Good job, very entertaining and informative. Thanks for doing it.

I can't believe people aren't voting for Red Pen. How else can Proofer correct the mistakes if she doesn't have Red Pen?
Samutz Sep 29th 2010 3:09PM
I like how there are 16 votes for "Some other race/class combo stated in the comments", yet no one else has stated some other race/class combo (at the time of writing this).
I'm going to say Dwarflock. Dwarves are probably the only Alliance race I can still tolerate. I'll probably even get sick of Worgen pretty quickly.

Dying to see Orc Mage. I haven't seen that much coverage of their lore and the Durotar starting zone.
Natsumi Sep 29th 2010 4:07PM
Orc mages are the ones that weren't good enough to be Orc Warlocks.

@Natsumi
No, orc mages were an exclusive sect of orcs that were so superior to all the others that they actually teleported into an alternate dimension long ago, forgetting that it would leave the orcs with 'locks and shamans. Tolerating shamans, they allowed the horde to be lead by one. The warlocks however, were a different story. The ever creative mages created a "tainted blood" for the orcs to drink, which lead to the corruption in orcs that we all know of. The orcs then proceded to do various horrible things (see most recent Know your lore). The warlocks, as you can see there, were prosecuted even there, due to their horrible taste in magic. Literally, it tasted awful... have you ever EATEN a healthstone?! Strudel is much better. But I digress. The point is, the mages tortured and played with the warlocks with the intent that nobody would like them. It has come to their attention that certain jerks and monstrosities of people ENJOY warlocks, so they came back to their original dimension to teach what is right. And that is.... Mages are far better than warlocks

Orc Warlocks are the ones that weren't smart enough to be Orc Mages.

For the dog's name I'd pick Ellipsis
