Goblin cinematic: Escape from Kezan
Xfire user Zilas just uploaded what we believe to be the cinematic detailing the end of the goblin starting zone Kezan. Frankly, it's amazing. There are spoilers for the end of the first part of the goblin starting experience, so be warned.
Blizzard has, once again, topped itself in terms of cinematic quality and expression outside of its general pre-rendered cinematics. Hopefully the worgen transformation movie is just as awesome.

I hereby propose the Unofficial Big Sack of Money Award, wherein everyone involved with this cinematic or anyone who got coffee for the people who did it or the people passing in the hallway outside the offices where it was made gets a big sack of money.

I hereby concur!

I can assure you that all employees of Blizzard will be making sweet love to their big sacks of money shortly after Cataclysm launches. There's no need for prayers Allison.

Give them 2 sacks of money! And while you're at it, put MONEY inside those bags! That was incredible! Absolutely awesome!

Even though we've waited a long time for this cinematic, it's clear:
TIME IS MONEY, FRIEND.
/sends money to CG artists

Blizzard employees may have big sacks of money, but they have no time to make sweet love to them.
As soon as Cata releases they will be splitting time between patching it to keep it running, and working on the next expansion.
Why?
So when the Carpel Tunnel sets in they go home, kick back and spend all those big sacks on money, that they aren't sleeping on.

This wins, so very, very much. x)

It's pretty WOAH AWESOME aye, but I can't help but feel a bit sorry for all the old races whose starting experience will really, REALLY pale in comparison.

"It's ... WOAH AWESOME ..."
So true...
(all of it :P )
Draev Sep 30th 2010 3:57PM
Double awesome with awesomesauce and sprinkled awesome. Yet also sad for the ones in the cage, like the screaming elder goblin.

What, no topless goblin lass posing for a skeevy artiste? No goblinmobile with steamed-up windows?
What a lost opportunity.

I know. I've been indulging in spoilers right and left for months now, but... I'm not hitting play on that cinematic here today. This is something I'm going to wait for...

Dreyja Sep 30th 2010 1:08PM
AWESOME! I hope we don't have long to wait for the Worgen equivalent! They did a great job with the expressions in this one. It's already a step above what's come before.

I caught a touch of Starcraft cinematics from this, for some reason. Probably not, but my tinfoil hat is informing me that Starcraft 2 came out, and all of a sudden Wow cinematics look amazing.
I would very much like a whole lot of spreading this type of thing around the races.

I completely agree with the improved quality. While I will always and forever love the Wrathgate, this blew it out of the water (no pun intended).
