Goblin cinematic: Escape from Kezan
Xfire user Zilas just uploaded what we believe to be the cinematic detailing the end of the goblin starting zone Kezan. Frankly, it's amazing. There are spoilers for the end of the first part of the goblin starting experience, so be warned.
Blizzard has, once again, topped itself in terms of cinematic quality and expression outside of its general pre-rendered cinematics. Hopefully the worgen transformation movie is just as awesome.

Wow! That is definitely above par of what Disney puts out in terms of character development. . It really felt like it was part of a big movie. And it really adds personality to the new goblins.
Bravo Blizzard!

Sweet googly moogly. I think that might be the best WoW cinematic so far, and I'm really hoping we get to see the Worgen one soon, and that it's comparable.
I love the expressions they got on the models, and the voice acting (then again, their voice acting is almost always fabu). I felt bad for the goblins trapped in the ship though--made me want to cry. I guess thats another mark of a job well done by the awesome cinematic people at Blizzard.

I don't understand Gallywix. He's nice to the goblins, then mean, then nice again, then mean again. I haven't been reading too much goblin lore since I'm alliance, but it would be quite foolish not to level through at least azshara for the storyline. Thanks to anyone who responds =).

From how I saw it, there's no nice parts in Gallywix. He's just a greedy selfish goblin. I didn't see him doing anything good for the goblins.
The fact that he enslaves his own people after taking all their properties, stays as their ruler even after they are freed, and builds his own pleasure palace is what makes him AWESOME.

Eh, not so awesome to me. He keeps getting saved by unlikely twists and But Thou Must sequences, and Thrall even goes ahead and (re) installs him as the goblin leader despite his Zero Percent Approval Rating... obviously money can buy loyalty, /to a point/, but after all of his betrayals and all the times where he's totally at players' mercy, why is this guy not sharkfood?
I never thought I'd see a race "leader" that players of that race would want to see killed by the other side more than Malfurion D***weed, but Blizz seems to have managed it.

The cinematic is plain awesome. You can see it in much better, HD quality on our YouTube Channel.

Wow, awesome. I love how expressive the Goblin faces were. I don't think I've ever seen a player model in WoW that actually looks scared, outside of I suppose the /cower emote, but that's mainly in the body language.
The Goblin with white hair begging to be let out and who we see in the water at the end, am I right to assume that'd be your own Goblin when you play through it? If so, interesting to hear your character express themselves so much. I've always felt like our characters tended a little toward the Silent Protagonist model; we're not completely mute, but we tend to be pretty taciturn, so most conversations with NPCs end up very one-sided.
Obviously things are different in the Goblin and Worgen starting areas, where our characters will be much more major figures in the lore than say John Q. Humanalt or Krosh Neworc, who start out as pretty minor adventurers.

The player is probably meant to be one of the other, unseen goblins in the hold (for maximum flexibility), with this poor soul as the sympathetic focus for this particular cutscene.

Wow,lots of down votes on the bloo elf players going to worgen, guess the truth hurts, huh?

I was reminded of racthet and clank when I watched this, maybe it's all the explosions combined with the goblins comedic expressions =P
