As someone currently working on The Insane, I would have to agree, you want to do it now rather than later. OTOH, as someone currently working on The Insane, I have to say that you may well be too late already, if you are not already close to exalted with Darkmoon Faire.

Just a FYI, you turn in >100 upper level darkmoon decks. That's >800 cards ... that match. The number of cards you have to make, that end up not matching? Well... perhaps the AH will help you make up the difference.

My own experience has been 30-40 minutes herbing per card made, northrend herbs and supplemental Eternal Life purchased. At high Honored, I've enough decks yet to make that, probably, "every card will count".
