Not sure why all the downrating: it's an interesting question, if entirely speculative at this point.
In the interest of speculation, I think Saeadame is on the right track: classes with radical changes to core design will probably seem underpowered at first as players get the hang of them, while classes that essentially just get new toys but no fundamental change to mechanics will adapt quickly and have immediate success.
So I forsee much wailing (even more than usual) from the paladin community, and...I dunno...mages being seen as ridunculously OPed. And I'm pretty good at predicting these things.
