i didnt see it anywhere but...do we really gonna play with cheat codes on?i mean we got 30% buff.. now new patch increases dps output a lot, healers got some new fun utilities( numbers seems +/- same to me) well except poor trees..overall isnt that bit too much? its still 2 month till new dungeons/raids, how we are supposed to keep ourselves occupied? killing lk/halion with these buffs doesnt seem too fun to me...(maybe if they keep titles/mount, in that case are we gonna see so many light of the dawn as we see KS today or hand of A'dal at end of tbc?anyone else hoping for reducing/removing icc buff?

If you want the ICC buff removed....turn it off. That's already been put in along with the buff, so if it's harder challenges you're looking for, do heroic modes without the buff. I'm guessing that that would be enough of a challenge to keep you occupied for a good long while.

Unfortunately, there is only one way to turn the buff off - completely. It'd be cool if you could reduce it by increments of 5% but it's either 30% or 0%, and look at how many guilds have cleared Heroic ICC with 0% buff.Like Sidone, I honestly don't like the buff either. I think it makes kills unsatisfying, because rather than slowly working toward something, slowly adding all the right moves and pieces, one day you log in and the kill just happens even though you didn't really perfect the level of play you were bringing to the fight. It doesn't really encourage players to get better and push themselves, it encourages players to say "let's come back when we have the next buff." I'm the sort of person who want to do the best I can in the time I am given, but with the zone buffs I know that it's not me getting better, it's the game. That's just no fun.I used to play in a very casual guild when I started raiding and we didn't down Naxxramas on 25 til the end of January (so 3 months after the content came out.) Malygos we got some weeks later. But we worked on those fights hard every week, getting a little further each time, and when we finally got the kill it felt so good. Now, you could be doing the exact same thing at 5% buff in ICC for a month, be so close and just need to fix a few more things, then one day you come in and it's 10% and you one shot the kill... That's not because everyone got their game together since the last time you played. It's because you had the extra 5%. It's hollow, and you can't even turn it down back to what you were working on it at. It's all or nothing.I understand that the buff allows people to see the content, but I think it caters too much to an instant gratification mindset, and makes everything less rewarding and epic. This is a game, but rewards from hard work really are worth the time and effort.
