Around Azeroth Beta Edition: The great reef
Alleryn of <NEEDS A HUG> (me too) on Wyrmrest Accord (US-H) writes, "As I was swimming out of Legion's Rest in Vashj'ir, I was struck by this absolutely beautiful scene. The massive set of Highborne ruins, looming out of time itself, fronted by the beautiful coral reef. As a lore nut, it really made me stop for a second and just drink it all in. Honestly, that one picture made the buggy hell of Nespirah worth it."

Vashj'ir has definitely been the winner in the contest of the two initial levelling zones. And that came as a surprise to me since I was expecting Hyjal to come out ahead, especially since I'm a lore junkie and Hyjal is just steeped in lore.
Battlemaiden questline in Vashj'ir = winsauce!

I'd say that Vash'jir is my favourite zone of the new selection. It's different, vibrant, atmospheric and the Battlemaiden quest-line (plus the end battle for the zone) is brilliant.

I ADORE Vashj'ir - it's just so beautiful. And like I usually say: It's amazing how they can make us walk at the bottom of the ocean and still not feel out of place. Impressive.
