Shouldn't we be concerned about our actual specs before rotations?!As an afflock, I'm feeling pretty jilted as far as the talent transition goes. When the patch hits in the next week or so, we're 2 points shy of what we're currently accustomed to...So, where should I cut myself short?I'm leaning towards:1/2 Nightfall (as that point was required to fill out the tree)3/3 Bane (quicker SBs like we have now)2/3 Shadow and Flame (increased SB dmg and 66% chance of applying the improved crit buff)This won't matter much after the expansion as we'll be leveling and not raiding, but for the month and a half after the patch and before Cata, for those of us still raiding, I'd say we're screwed.

You're jumping ahead, Abbadon! =)The talent specs and DPS rotations go hand-in-hand, imo, since many talents will directly impact the overall aDPCT values of a number of spells. In other words, we need to figure out which talents have the greatest, most DPS-friendly effect, and that requires more number crunching.
