FAIL, Wow.com, FAIL. Digital art allows you finer control and the ability for control over MORE details, not less. There's a limit to how small you can get a pencil or a brush, and a limit to the control over those tools. In Digital, there's no limit. For someone who's mastered the tools, they can get right down to pixel-level for fine control over lines and color shading. I've seen tons of incredibly detailed & "painterly" work done by folks using Illustrator and Photoshop.
