OMG, Minecraft is CRACK! I bought it yesterday and was playing til 2AM. Most addictive game I've played since trying out another game that also ended in "craft".

Minecraft has killed my urge to play WoW at the moment (and I am only logging in once a week to do 25's). And with all the new features they are releasing around the end of the year I am probably going to have to force myself to login just to do the pre-cata events (because I am a lore hound).
Sometimes I even have dreams where everything is a block >.<

Minecraft is super-popular now, apparently. I remember when it was the greatest game no one knew about.
/end nostalgic digression

Yeah, it sure is depressing that other people are having fun with this game. O.o
It's like when someone's favorite band becomes popular and they don't like them anymore. Get over it.

Oops, digression isn't depression. Finishing my coffee now.

I'm getting more and more excited about DC Universe. I wish I'd never clicked on this article last week. I may need to quit my job if I hope to play that AND WOW. Something's got to give. Hmm... maybe my social life isn't that important after all. XD

Ooohhh, Minecraft. Oh yeah. Love it. Absolutely love it.
Anybody who plays WoW should try this game. If you're playing WoW, you're playing for game play, and Minecraft delivers. You're mining, building, crafting, farming, blowing stuff up, fearing for your digital life, etc. Very open ended, and yet it's plenty challenging. There are monsters, lava, falling damage, etc.
Maybe a little short on RP, as there's no story, but it is open ended enough that you can easily write your own story. You can build almost anything your heart desires in a world that is effectively infinite in size.
Awesome game. Easy to lose a lot of time in it. Highly recommended :).
