The Guild Season 4 finale
Season 4 of Felicia Day's The Guild comes to an end with the 12th episode in the season, "Guild Hall." Most of the episode takes place within the game world, showing off Vork's design for the Knights of Good's guild hall, the culmination of that whole Zaboo's mom debacle, and lots of teases for the next season.
This season was pretty spot-on and I really enjoyed every episode. I think the entire crew has hit this great stride, especially after last season's awesome Vork-in-a-van episodes, which were highlights for me. Everything was top-notch, and The Guild is only getting better and better as the seasons progress. Good on you, Guildies -- and we're anxiously awaiting the next season!

Incredible episode-- and true to Felicia Day's writing, she left the finale on a note for all of her fans to look forward to!

Felicia Day is still a fox (Not to be confused with Fox Van Allen, that would be... just creepy)
Jeffro Oct 5th 2010 6:04PM
I second that!

is that Howard Wolowitz from The Big Bang theory?
Faith Trust Oct 5th 2010 5:38PM
He certainly looks like Simon Helberg but i couldnt find credits anywhere to confirm

It is, indeed. Nice spot on your part, and definite win for The Guild!

It's not inconceivable. The actor (Simon Helberg) would know Felicia Day from their work on Dr. Horrible's Sing-along blog. He was "Moist", Dr. Horrible's sidekick, while she was Penny, Dr. Horrible's love interest.
Almoderate Oct 5th 2010 6:09PM
Yep. He did Dr. Horrible with her a while back.

If only they would have the guild on Big Bang Theory. That would be a great episode.

@Faith Trust
Yep, right there in the end credits it says also starring: Simon Helberg
That's pretty awesome :D

I must say, this season by far, is my favorite.
The writing was top notch, the characters (though still pretty much their lovable true selves) have started to show different sides, and I am thoroughly excited about Zaboo's character development. He has gone from a sheltered mamma's boy to showing he is a quite clever and good hearted (albeit zany) person that has learned how to handle situations better.
Plus, come on, who wouldn't want their character drawn in a van art style?

That episode was nothing short of amazing!

I just started watching The Guild and I love it :)
Question: How long is the gap usually between seasons?
Janaan Oct 5th 2010 6:20PM
It's hard to say at this point, because before they had to wait for funding before starting to film the season. Felicia had it all/mostly written, but they had to wait for the OK from corporate. Who knows this time, it sounds like they have a more long-term contract now, so it could be a fairly short break. On the other hand, they are all doing their own stuff other than The Guild, they tour conventions, stuff like that. Long story short, I don't know, and I don't know that anyone else does either.

W00T! Guest appearance from the WOLOWIZARD! There were too many moments of awesome in there. I have too many friends in game who will duel the second there is a lul in play. I loled mightily.
Ugh. I have to wait for the next season. The gang is basically going to BLIZZ CON! Can't wait!

Nice to see what their take on the game is that we've been hearing so much about. And I'm glad they're putting those costumes to more use! :)

I just laughed when I saw everyone's action for 'I object!". Male human ! animation right there and hilarious.
