Note, the above opinion in no way relfects the experiences of a fail shaman learning his craft, poorly, during Vanilla. Crowd control. Controlled Pulls. All for naught. The bastards aggro from across the zone, won't die nicely, and then sprint away at the last moment to bring more of thier Vile friends to eat your face.

Given the reference to an inexperienced Shaman in Vanilla, we may presume that encountering Murlocs in Westfall was improbable, while Silverpine Forest would have indeed been a more likely venue for early Murloc encounters.
