Around Azeroth: Flight school
OK, little dudes, your mom hired me to give you flying lessons so that you can have a chance of getting off this godforsaken frozen rock. So the first thing you have to do is spread your wings. No, further. You call those wings? Well, we'll work with what we have. Now you just have to learn the way my mom taught me. Run ... or waddle, whatever ... to the edge of the glacier, spread your wings, close your eyes and jump! You'll never learn if you don't do it. There we go! Dudes! Dudes? Where'd you go? Why is there only an orca down there licking his lips? Oh, man, I better get out of here before the cops come. (Thanks to Greyarea of <Pendulum> on Maiev [US-H] for the screenshot.)

I come from a few hours into the future to tell you that the next Around Azeroth post is pretty funky. There's probably some important stuff I could tell you, but I don't think time travel rules allow me to.

"Let's talk about our beliefs, and what we can learn about them. We believe nature is solid, and time a constant. Matter has substance and time a direction. There is truth in flesh and the solid ground. The wind may be invisible, but it's real. Smoke, fire, water, light - they're different! Not as to stone or steel, but they're tangible. And we assume time is narrow because it is as a clock - one second is one second for everyone! Cause precedes effect - fruit rots, water flows downstream. We're born, we age, we die. The reverse NEVER happens... None of this is true! Say goodbye to classical reality, because our logic collapses on the subatomic level... into ghosts and shadows. "

"The trick, Fletcher, is that we are trying to overcoming our limitations in order, patiently. We don't tackle flying through rock until a little later in the program."

So THAT's how these penguins got up northern Icecrown cliffs.

I'm guessing a druid with the food to make critters a temporary pet to pose this?

This looks like something druid commanders would pin on their uniforms.

For a minute, I thought it was supposed to be a take-off of a Journey album cover or something.

And here I thought it was a reference to the flag of the Azores islands ...

If it's not, it should be. Nice catch!

There is an art to flying, or rather a knack.
The knack is to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
