The Queue: What's that, Deathwing?

Really? I thought the first thing you'd say when you emerged from Deepholm would be something about unmaking the world, not requesting the next installment of an admittedly daily feature. But who are we to argue with the Aspect of Death?
Ilmyrn asked:
When will we see the world changes from Cataclysm? 4.0.1? Later? I want to get the Wrathgate done on as many characters as I can before it's gone forever.
Game systems change in 4.0.1. The world changes in 4.0.3.
RogueJedi86 asked:
Any word on a phasing sync feature so we can avoid the nightmare of Icecrown group quests where no one can help anyone else on a group quest due to being out of sync with their phase? Cata has extensive phasing, so I'd hope Blizz would implement a sync phase feature for the sake of individual quests.
I'm not aware of a way to change phases yet, but parties do currently have indicators when one of your members is out of sync, so maybe it's on the way.
Dpoyesac asked:
Any plans for an "Intro to Mastery" post? It's a new thang that we, the unwashed masses, have yet to really experience and certainly don't understand... When all my ArP turns into haste, should I go ahead and use the reforger to turn 40 percent of it into mastery?
Yes, this is one of many topics we'll likely tackle when appropriate.
Eldoron asked:
What is the best rogue spec for soloing/leveling in Cataclysm (starting from level 1), and what weapons (heirlooms) should I get for that spec?
Assassination is fantastic for leveling due to Deadly Momentum and Recuperate. There's very little downtime due to self-healing, and you're essentially an unstoppable murder machine until you decide to sit down. Grab a pair of daggers and you're good to go.

Tried this in a couple other queues over the past year, but third time's the charm, right?
A lore question:
Is there any indication in any of the lore sources as to where the Dark Iron Highway goes behind the gate Bael'Gar guards? It seems like a pretty major thoroughfare, and I've always wondered exactly what it was meant to connect the Dark Iron city to.
Kevin S. Oct 8th 2010 11:17AM
I'm betting it hasn't been answered because no one knows...
But I've always wondered this too. Pretty lame highway if it just ends right there and don't go nowheres.
Powatodapeople Oct 8th 2010 11:18AM
they read your comment and didn't want to answer it, so there's no need to say it multiple times. have you ever had a friend that said, "hey man I NEED to crash at your place" "I really need to crash at your place!" "hey this is the third time I asked but I neeeeeeed a place to stay can I stay at your place?"
I would probably get annoyed haha.

@Powa
I can't tell if your comment's just really dumb, or you're trolling, or you're high.
Arturis Oct 8th 2010 11:51AM
"Hey man, I really need to crash in your comment"

I'd venture to guess there are other as yet unseen Dark Iron towns it connects to. We may never see them, or get beyond the gate, but they probably exist. I wouldn't be surprised if it actually connects to Old Ironforge.
Vladeon Oct 8th 2010 1:58PM
It makes sense that it would be a road that's currently under construction as the whole Dark Iron dwarf city was fairly new when we first set foot in it. If I had to guess, I'd say it was probably a road to Iron Forge. It's pointing in the right direction and Blackrock Mountain is fairly close to Iron Forge. It was probably originally created to serve as a military highway to speed troops to the underground dwarven capital city in order to facilitate an invasion. I mean, that's what I'd do.
Viator Oct 8th 2010 2:28PM
it leads to a superhighway filled with mole machines, where do you think they keeping all this stuff?
Kao Oct 8th 2010 4:17PM
I was thinking of Gnomer, where did all those dark irons come from? I believe Anne mentioned is in an article. To lazy to look it up though... :p
jbodar Oct 8th 2010 6:52PM
As we all know, the Road to Nowhere leads to Ozzy.
Sturmovic Oct 8th 2010 11:08AM
Firsts!!!!!!
Who do you think is in the running to get the world firsts in clearing the first tier raid content?
.........
What did you think I was doing there?
Also, also are there any titles in the gist of Conqueror of Naxxramas for getting the realm firsts?
dirk-janwassink Oct 8th 2010 11:15AM
i lolled cause you aint first at all :D
Eldoron Oct 8th 2010 11:16AM
dude don't do firsts, it's juvenile, and even more, stupid, very stupid
SunGod228 Oct 8th 2010 11:16AM
I know exactly what you were doing there...
Sturmovic Oct 8th 2010 11:46AM
Dengit, it was a joke (read rest of post please).
Y'know, first post/first realm kills?
/crickets
(cutaia) Oct 8th 2010 11:54AM
Friends don't let friends make "first" jokes.
I'll answer anyway...
The first part: We could certainly guess that the super guilds who are always in the running for world first kills will be the one's in the running this time. But at the same time...who knows? It could be you!
And no...there are no titles, although there will be feats of strength still.
Elmouth Oct 8th 2010 12:05PM
Pretty sure he was implying that world firsts are just as juvenile as posts first.
I can agree with that actually
Sturmovic Oct 8th 2010 12:45PM
Thank you Cutaia.
Sane Oct 8th 2010 12:58PM
Even if you had a perfectly legitimate question, adding "first" to your post will probably get you thumbed down and ignored. Trying to be funny on the internet is like watching Tiger Woods play golf - it looks easy when other people do it.
randyzilinski Oct 8th 2010 8:53PM
I dont get whats wrong with first posts...ive seen them plenty of times in my life and it has never generated rage, if anything, I welcome it. I think you have to be pretty messed up in the head to be so bothered by someone saying "first".
