This article is going to get into my special 'Stories of How It Feels To Be a Rogue' -collection.
I have a rogue as main, always had. My nephews always rant me about being the ultimate killing tool in the game, dishonorable sneaker (they play clothies, warlock, mage and priest). They go on until I ask them to level one. None of them has a rogue past 30.
One of them has many alts nearing 70 and a full table of characters, but when looking closer he has two priests. What's missing??? The rogue. He just can't take the beating a rogue takes after leaving the starting zone's comforting safety of non-aggressive mobs.
Being a rogue requires a special mindset, unlike any other character in the game (well, maybe warlocks, but they are weird nonetheless). Switching from, say, a mage to rogue doesn't happen that easy. You are without shield spells, you fight at arms reach of your target. I like it that way. Clean and efficient.
