Blizzard is offering those who bought BlizzCon 2010 tickets, even DirecTV virtual tickets, the opportunity to buy
exclusive BlizzCon merchandise online for 48 hours this weekend. This
sale was delayed until Sunday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. PST. As of now, we can confirm that this sale is now active.
You can buy the items by going to the
Blizzard Store and selecting More Products. Good luck getting your items!
Edit: Only Battle.net accounts that were used to purchase tickets are able to see the sale. Virtual ticket sales are on Wednesday.

1. Can people who didn't buy the ticket see what is in the store?
2. If 1 is wrong can someone post what is in it? Thanks

Some items are already selling out, so make sure you get on there soon if you have a popular shirt size.
RuzGofDI Oct 10th 2010 1:43PM
And it looks like a few items are going to have delayed shipping already. Horde Flag and the seat cushion aren't going to ship until 10/21 for me.
RuzGofDI Oct 10th 2010 1:53PM
Let me edit my previous statement.
The flag is marked as a pre-order item in the store and I didn't notice.
The seat cushion is marked as a pre-order item in my order history with no indication that it's a pre-order item in the store.

ugh, I purchased the DirecTV virtual tickets and their website is telling me that only people that purchased Blizzcon tickets are able to see the sale. =(
Tuscansalami Oct 10th 2010 1:46PM
The first 48 hour sale is for actual blizzcon ticket holders only - us virtual ticket holders get our own separate sale in a couple days time, so worry not (hopefully)!
"A second 48-hour sale for BlizzCon Virtual Ticket purchasers will be taking place beginning October 13—place your order by October 10 to participate."

I'm not able to purchase the DirecTV tickets even though I have a DirecTV account, purchased the tickets last year, and it's after October 9 (the day they were supposed to go on sale).
Can you tell me how you were able to order the event? The site linked gave me ZERO information on how to order.
Tuscansalami Oct 10th 2010 2:47PM
Rather than logging in with my account from last year (not that I can remember what it was), I just created a new account from scratch, which seems to be the only way to purchase the virtual ticket.
Just log out and hit the 'order now' button and you should be good.
Almoderate Oct 10th 2010 3:25PM
You mean to tell me that you ordered a second DirecTV subscription just to pay another $40 for the DirecTV event, or are you talking about the online streaming? Those are two different things. I'm referring to actually having DirecTV service and trying to order the pay per view event.
I've been checking the forums, and apparently other existing DirecTV customers are also having problems ordering the event for DirecTV. It seems like they can't even order it over the phone, and when they try to register with the streaming (which is supposed to be included with the pay per view) it tries to charge them an extra $40. And some have been told that if they order over the phone they will not get the pet, and it costs an extra $5 to order over the phone.
It probably wouldn't be so frustrating to wait a few days otherwise, but we're now being told that DirecTV customers have to sign up with their battle.net accounts by midnight tonight in order to qualify for the 48-hour presale.
And all I want is a darn pink murloc plushie!

Direct quote from blizzard...
"WHY DO I NEED TO ENTER EACH ATTENDEE'S BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT NAME? WHAT SHOULD I DO IF AN ATTENDEE DOESN'T HAVE A BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT? In the weeks leading up to BlizzCon, we’ll be hosting a special, limited-time online sale that will allow those who have purchased a BlizzCon ticket to buy items from the BlizzCon store before heading to the show. In order for an attendee to participate in this sale, the attendee’s Battle.net account name needs to be entered by Sunday, June 20, 2010 at 8 p.m. Pacific time. If an attendee does not have a Battle.net account and would like to participate, please visit www.battle.net to create one. If the attendee does not wish to participate, you can leave the Battle.net Account Name field blank."

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but, I bought a virtual ticket, and I'm currently logged into my battle.net account and yet I can't seem to see/find anything Blizzcon related. I've been to the 'More Products' area of the site and there's a small section for Blizzcon stuff but there's 10 items and none of them seem.. worthy enough. Am I doing something wrong or is what I'm seeing is right? Seems a bit of a let down if so. No t-shirts or anything!
Nijel Oct 10th 2010 1:47PM
The "virtual ticket" sale isn't until Tuesday. Today is the release for just BlizzCon ticket holders.

So, I like how everything is on Preorder and ships the day of the CON. I thought the point of Presale is to have the stuff for the CON also..
