How about getting us up to date please.
Michael Sacco Oct 11th 2010 3:16PM
How about waiting a few hours :)
Adam Holisky Oct 11th 2010 3:34PM
If I had any more than a minor bit of control over what happened on the technical end, you would be caught up. But that being said, I don't, so we're doing the best we can.
Gammarey Oct 11th 2010 3:15PM
Great Podcast!
Thanks so much!
Rakah Oct 11th 2010 3:14PM

I really want to start listening to these but I have read that things are behind and I don't want to listen to old news since I read wow insider compulsively anyways. What is the current episode number/when will things be caught up?
Michael Sacco Oct 11th 2010 3:31PM
Truthfully, only a small portion of the show is even dedicated to new news. But if you must have only the latest show, that would be the one that's going up in a few hours.

add 2

Love the show, guys!
Just wondering if this is the last time the move to wow.joystiq.com will muck with our beloved podcast? It's affected the last three or four shows.
If you ever switch domains again, I will personally conference-call the three of you and have you improvise a show for me.

"Release the catch phrase!" must become a catch phrase!

Mathew, you are a bloody genius.
More people need to be reading the comments on the podcast, simply to witness this epic photoshop.

Analyzing the narrative to world of warcraft or any video game for that matter is about as useful as disecting the plot to your average summer blockbuster. I don't care what garrosh's motives are and I can't fathom why anyone else would either.
rambaral Oct 11th 2010 6:52PM
Way too much lore and dissection of the motivations of the characters, factions, and races. Nobody gives a damn about these characters, who they are, their history, or what happened to them in some book that is somehow considered required reading to play the game according to these people. I think the podcast is more for them to get together and BS about the lore than discuss what players want to know about the game. Nobody in my guild or whom I know plays this game knows a damn thing about any of the lore in WoW aside from Arthas. They didn't even know the guy in the wrathgate movie was the guy at the end when you kill LK. It's a game where you kill things, get loot, and look at the scenery for what has to be the vast majority of the players. Nobody reads the quest text, nobody remembers the blood princes are dudes you fought before, and nobody gives a good God damn about ancients and all that crap. AOL decided to use a site called wow.com for something useful, since clearly the people who are running it have no clue who actually plays this game.
I also can't stand the woman who must smoke a carton a day and has to one-up everything the others mention doing. I want to vomit every time I here that dumb laugh and hear the bubbling wad of brown phlegm coming up from her gullet.
I am unsubscribing to the lorecast, if I feel the need to listen about the motivations of dragons, I'll put a Dio album on.

@rambaral
"Nobody"? Speak for yourself. As a Loremaster, in title and endeavour, I'd like to speak for the WoW Insider community and say that you, sir, are a spiteful douchebag. Go play your pathetic pursuit of polygons. Your understanding of this game is simple, and you are simple.
By the by, this episode had me laughing aloud: I absolutely loved each minute and I think it is your best yet! Can't wait for the next one!

I love the lore and I love hearing about it on the Podcast, stop being such a funsucking douche.

I care, I know, I read, I remember, and I give a damn. And I am far, far, far from the only one. Therefore, you're both wrong.
Please, both of you, try to remember that your opinions and thoughts on something are not held by the rest of the world. Posting things like this only makes you look arrogant, ignorant, and apathetic.

This was meant to be a reply to pwn3d and rambaral. Still WTB edit button.
