Druid tanks are fine - I tanked a few heroics with a group of geared casters. Aoe tanking is harder than it used to be, but easier than in BC. The dps were putting out over 10k dps without any of their addons, and not holding back at all. That should have sorted out threat issues, but all seems good with bears.

I disagree. I'm not rage starved, and I'm not being peeled off of left & right, but tanking on the bear is an exercise in frustration. Sitting on the Swipe CD and tab targeting Mangle > Maul (with OoC) > Lacerate is neither fun tanking, nor terribly feasible in the still-current Wrath era of AoE spam.I don't even so much that 80 tanking is gimped for a couple months, but I really feel sorry for people leveling up as feral tanks. Tanking can be frantic--warrior tanking is frantic, and it's super-fun--but the bear toolkit has always been minimalist, and Blizz has gone and gimped the only nice thing about it.Personally, I prefer the BC days when we were weaker AoE tanks, but a good deal more mobile.

My baby bear, who was all of level 22 -- tried tanking last night as she had pre-patch, since my healing mods were broken and I couldn't heal the way I wanted to on my main.It was an utter free-for-all hell (assuming you actually enjoy tanking in lowbie dungeons, and not having the dps tank for you!!). Not only did my baby bear lose swipe -- after she had barely gotten it, but glyphs are now 25+ so no maul + glyph to hit more than one target was gone. Having never used mangle before it was really strange trying to keep it up -- while trying to tab target like crazy, and even then -- losing aggro was really easy -- all I had at my dispoal was savage roar, auto-attack, maul if I had enough rage -- which I often didn't -- and mangle, which had a long CD. All the lowbie dungeons are humanoid zoo's. Trying to hold aggro on more than one mobs is nearly impossible. And when they get low health they run away to go get friends. I'm not steping foot into a dungeon as a tank again until at least 25.

At the other end of the spectrum, however, healing RFC on my new disco priest was ...faceroll. I hardly had to do anything, no-one took any damage.
