I'm an Affliction Warlock, so I love this patch so much I want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant. My unbuffed target dummy DPS using standard rotation only went up by about 500, but on a test run of Culling of Stratholme with a warrior tank, hunter, ret paladin and resto druid, I popped my Doomguard on Mal'ganis and after a 50 second fight Recount showed me doing 9.2k DPS, which is way above what I would have done yesterday. So yeah, I'm gonna enjoy my moment. Rogues and Ret Paladins seem to be the ones the most upset by the change, although I think (at least with Ret) it's a major change to rotations that's causing a lot of it.

If you knew a kitty, they would certainly be the most upset. But not a lot of people know any kitties good enough to care.

Oh, and a hunter in my guild spent his talent points, hit the target dummies and was outraged at his 4k DPS and complaining loudly in guild chat about how his class was horribly broken. I told him to come to WoW Insider and read about the changes because apparently he had no idea. He regemmed, changed his rotation, and was up to 9k on his second trip to the dummy.

As an unholy deathknight i agree, my dps has gone up by about 4k in raids and 3k in heroics, my main issues with this patch is the melee hitbox seems a lot more limited and the dark transformation buff is hard to track (if you do track it then your dps goes up by about 500).
