That was a bug reported on the PTR. Don't expect it to get fixed any time soon.

it's not just you.or it's just both of us :Danyways, I also have a problem with nameplates. Sometimes they don't show, or they show from far away mobs, madness.

Well, Tiny Plates is working correctly as far as I can tell... (although not Tiny Plates: Threat). I haven't experienced any issues with enemy plates using the addon.

I've had this problem, and it's one that cropped up on the beta, and from what I hear, carried over to the PTR as well. Funny thing is they would not show at all, then go in and out and finally were there for good for me. Took about an hour for it to fully resolve on its own, which was fun to do while in a dungeon.

It's not just enemy nameplates for me - it's also friendly nameplates. I've tried V, Shift-V, CTRL-Shift-V, going into the UI and manually clicking "Friendly Nameplates", but I just can't get it to work. I sometimes can get friendly pet's nameplates, but since the names are all changed I just don't recognize them

Whoops - WowInsider doesn't like emoticons looking shiftily around... xDAnyway, what I was saying was that from a pve perspective, not being able to see which enemies are at what percent health has made mutli-dotting really hard and picking up adds even harder. From a pvp perspective, this has made battleground healing really difficult and enemy targeting even more difficult. While I'm on the subject of BG bugs, I've also had the following problems: Only WSG seems to be coming up in Random Battlegrounds @ 80; Clicking on a portal or a flag inside the BG seems to freeze up the game (ctrl-alt-delete, end task was the only way I could shut it down); the Rezzer at the GY is severely bugged; the BG's are incredibly laggy. This is all in addition to the known problems of sometimes just being booted and getting the deserted debuff.

I'm having the exact same problem and honestly, it's making tanking difficult for me. I look at name plates for multiple reasons. One is I see them most of the time before I see mobs, especially around corners. I watch for all of them to be tinged red and know I have aggro on everything and if one of them isn't I click and Hand of Reckoning it, simple. And because if I'm targeted on one thing and I see one dying a lot quicker, I know my group is on a different target and if I don't single target it I will probably loose aggro. The whole red tinge thing helps when a melee grabs aggro, its obvious when a ranged pulls aggro bc the thing is running from you but if a melee grabs one of 5 same modeled mobs it may be impossible to notice (especially since my grid has not been updated and I can just see if someone grabs aggro and one click a Righteous Defense.) I hope they fix this soon bc its making my personal way of tanking difficult, which I don't need since I have the whole new Holy Power system and consolidated attacks to get through.
