This is, of course, absurd, because unlike what has been reported in the beta, the "honor point" jewelcrafting vendor is still in the game for 4.0.1, and raw epic gem prices are still quite reasonable. Far and away better to run a Wintergrasp and use those points for raw gems that are then cut for, say, 15g apiece instead of shelling out 150g for a Solid Majestic. I think the blogs have done us a bit of a disservice by not clarifying things better.
