I don't want to diss on any of the WOW Insider team, but THIS article, this right here; is precisely the sort of article I value the most when a new patch hits.Suggested builds, suggested rotations (and though not here, suggested glyphs would be nice) that are class specific and patch relevant.Math is cool. Coefficients and all that. But as a guy who prefers who 'get the gist of it and go', this article was astoundingly useful. Beautiful, really, as it covered all three specs in one fell swoop. My hat is off to Mr. Wood. And I really hope all of the other classes get a beautiful write up like this one.For lack of similar articles on other classes, I'm probably going to spend a ton of time on my hunter now. Much like a lot of other folks, I have no idea what's going on with talents and rotations in the other classes.

I'm pretty sure there are similar ones for the other classes.

I agree entirely - perfect write-up! Looking forward to Sunday when I should finally have time to play with the new system
After checking, most classes have at least one of their specs covered but it's really hard to tell because some have certain parts found in this article and others aren't here yet because it's not the right day. So my advice to you is look up the articles for each of the specs you play and if they're not there, just wait a few days.

Totally agree. This article was much needed and very helpful. Looking forward to the second part with info on glyphs, gemming and enchants. I know some of the other classes have similar articles - the feral kitty and shadow priest versions were equally good, but there are still many classes/specs that need an equivalent.

Agreed, I am definitely glad for articles such as these. Keep in mind, however, that all writers, including our trusty Frostheim, don't post every day, due to whatever reasons. That being said, in case you or others missed it, here are some other 4.0.1 guides. I may have missed some, but believe these are all of them (not all URLs may come through though...):Healing priests (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/10/spiritual-guidance-reforging-gemming-and-gcd-tactics-for-4-0-1/)Holy paladins (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/10/the-light-and-how-to-swing-it-hot-talents-and-glyphs-for-holy-p/)Enhancement shammy (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/09/totem-talk-enhancements-path-to-victory-in-patch-4-0-1/)Shadow priests (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/13/spiritual-guidance-your-beyond-last-minute-patch-4-0-1-checklis/)Death knights (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/12/lichborne-death-knight-talents-specs-and-rotations-for-patch-4/)Cat druids (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/12/shifting-perspectives-patch-4-0-1-for-cat-druids/)Ret paladins (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/13/the-light-and-how-to-swing-it-ret-rotation-and-cooldowns-in-4-0/)Rogues (http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/10/13/encrypted-text-rogue-specs-and-glyphs-for-patch-4-0-1-wednesda/).
