Honestly though, I cannot see any lore related reason why they would be included, except for some of the races that don't keep written historical records (Tauren, maybe troll, orc, ....gnome?.....)Basically, it would be a horde race for lore reasons, which makes me sad :(

I'm not sure you'd have to necessarily justify it like that. Plenty of civilizations with written histories also include oral storytellers, musicians, and entertainers.
