- Swift Zulian Tiger and Swift Razzashi Raptor are no longer available.
- Razzashi Hatchling is no longer available.
- Tome of Polymorph: Turtle will continue to be available through other means.
- Mounts from Trial of the Crusader will no longer be available.
- Reins of the Blue Drake will return to their place as a 10-man rare drop from Malygos. The Azure Drake will continue to be available in 25-man mode as normal.
- Mimiron's Head and Invincible will be rare drops from their respective bosses on hard mode.
As stated in the Under Dev page (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/), patch 4.0.3 brings about The Shattering, a cataclysmic event that will forever change the face of Azeroth. As we prepare to raise the level cap and introduce two new races with the Cataclysm expansion, it's important to keep in mind that the game world is going through tremendous changes that will affect the availability of certain rare mounts and items.
Swift Zulian Tiger
Zul'Gurub is changing from a raid to a leveling zone in 4.0.3, and this mount will no longer be obtainable.
Swift Razzashi Raptor
This mount will also no longer be obtainable after the change to Zul'Gurub.
Razzashi Hatchling
With the change to Zul'Gurub this non-combat pet will no longer be obtainable.
Tome of Polymorph: Turtle
This tome will continue to be available through other means.
Crusader's White/Black Warhorse and Swift Alliance Steed/Swift Horde Wolf
As the attempt-based tribute system is being removed from Heroic Trial of the Crusader, the Argent Crusade Tribute Chest will no longer spawn, and these mounts will no longer be obtainable
Reins of the Blue Drake
This mount will once again be available from defeating 10-player Malygos without needing to use the Dungeon Finder. The Reins of the Azure Drake will only be available on 25-player Malygos.
Mimiron's Head
This mount will change to be a very low drop chance when defeating 25-player Yogg'Saron with no Keepers assisting you .
Invincible
This mount will change to be a very low drop chance when defeating Heroic 25-player Lich King.
Although we have no current plans to introduce new ways to obtain the Zul'Gurub mounts, pets, and the tribute mounts, they may return should we find a place where they fit in the future.

The tiger was THE mount I've always wanted and now it's going away after so many futile farming trips. And yet mages get to keep their Polymorph Tome "available through other means." I hate you, mages. More than I've ever hated PvP, I hate you. /shakefist

No, your not an adult in this case. Your acting like a spoiled brat that didn''t get everything he wanted for christmas. Grow up kid, and learn that you'll NEVER get everything you want in WoW. My guilds' been farming TK since BC, and 2/25 of our core team got the pheonix. Been farming it 6man since the uld patch and havn't seen it since and I'm next in line on the BC Mount/Legendary dkp list. We've downed H25 LK at least once a month since we got the realm first, and we're just now finishing getting our group his horse. Now with it just being a rare drop, half of our group is annoyed that even though we'll be going back into ICC for it; it'll take longer to get.
The point is, no one is gonna get everything they want. So stop whining like a child. Those that say they know enough to act mature are just proving their spoiled. A mature person doesn't say he knows enough to act mature. But go ahead and leave the game just because the RNG doesn't like you, shows how mature you really are.

Ever since vanilla, all I wanted was that raptor mount. Being Alliance, and a fan of dinosaurs, it was my only chance. And being a squishy rogue, it was improbable if not impossible to solo so I had to rely on the kindness of others to run me through.
Years later, I see it drop, and who wins the roll but a friend of mine who quits the game for good, just a few weeks after.
I has a sad.

My friend and I have been farming the mount for quite some time (which btw two T10 geared priests can duo the raptor and tiger boss). The pet dropped quite a few months ago (and she won the roll), but we have not seen it since (we kill all the raptor adds, raptor boss, and tiger boss). I was there yesterday farming rep/coins so my priest can hit exalted. With the change to inner fire and some of the glyphs I was able to solo a couple of the bosses (not those two though). The most surprising thing was the pet dropped! I was tempted to hold onto it for a while and make a tidy profit, but ultimately decided you can get gold anywhere, but a cute red raptor is only available "once". :)

I think it's great that the Red and Blue Protodrakes are not on the above list. Gives people chances at those yet. Skadi is a ****** and deserves all the deaths he gets anyway.
Lame that a somewhat newer pet becomes unavailable, one less for achievement hunters.

They might go this route, but I kind of doubt it.
Instead I'd wager they'll offer the same models with lame re-colors. So the Fortunate will retain their RNG-awarded bragging rights.

Summary:
Each run would have a (roughly) 1% chance.
But over the course of all the runs you would have a 16.5% chance.

Speaking of items removed, Wintergrasp Commendation (http://www.wowhead.com/item=44115) is no longer purchaseable. Anyone know if this is permanent?

They need to make special things like this BOA then, ESPECIALLY if they're removing it! I want to be able to enjoy my hard work of farming (assuming I would be able to get them, or any of them to drop) on all my characters, since I play different characters a lot, especially toward the end of expansions.
