Um... don't all city factions start at Friendly to begin with? So aside from fundage, we're already set!

Granted, depending on the person, this will probably be more of an alt thing rather than a new character thing. As a new character, I was saving ALL of my money for riding skill + mount. Only other thing I spent money on was class skills and profession skills (in retrospect, I probably should have been picky about profession recipes).

I don't know how it is for other factions, but orcs and trolls start out at neutral with thunder bluff, undercity, and silvermoon. It's probably vice versa for other horde races too. Not sure how it works on the alliance side, but I'm sure it's similar.

Forsaken and Blood Elves start at Friendly with each other and Neutral with the rest of the Horde.

Alliance starts with all fellow cities as friendly, but all horde races start at neutral with the forsaken except for the forsaken themselves and blood elves. Unless this has changed recently, that is.
