My friend had it drop today too, seems like a lot have people have seen it drop today. I wonder if it's just coincidence.

I don't think it's a coincidence. I got it first try, and I am NOT lucky with these things.

I did it today after getting my rep to honoured... and the mount didn't drop. Will try again once the lockout resets at 8am server time.
