My main is a rogue, and I'll tell you Recuperate saved my ass when I solo'ed him. The bird flock is fairly nasty, took me down to half health by itself. Few sinister strikes and a 5 point recuperate later and I was topped off in time for the next one.

Would not have been able to solo this without being a combat rogue with recuperate and the improved leather armor!
