I'm thrilled with the change, and I get where you're coming from, but in general I just say "get over it" to people who complain about this sort of thing. Maybe that sounds a tad insensitive, but I've never been a fan of exclusivity - and I'm also all about self-sufficiency, especially when it comes to WoW. It bothers me enough that I have to bug my fiance to help me farm rep most of the time - let alone trying to find someone with a druid (He doesn't have one) to help me with this.Now I can go in there on my own and solo it- frankly, I love it. Don't get me wrong, I like playing with other people- but I don't like having to rely on other people to get my own achievements.
