WoW Moviewatch: Hearts Nether Lie: Episode 1

Michael Gray wasn't available today due to something involving a pathological fear of soap operas, so I'm filling in and bringing you the first episode of Hearts Nether Lie, a WoW-based soap opera. If you remember, the preview for the series came out in late September, promising romance, betrayal and good-natured satire of both World of Warcraft and the soap opera genre.
This comes from Nananea, who brought you WoW Addons: The Song, and does a good job of spoofing the Netherstorm quest line involving Archmage Vargoth. This was a great first episode, as it showed good production quality, fun gags and a certain campiness that the high elves call ... I don't know what. I'll definitely be looking forward to the next episode to see how the series develops.

Thanks! I'm keeping them around 2-3 minutes for my own sanity and so I can attempt to push them out every other week. Glad you enjoyed it!

I liked it! The voice acting was good and I liked the humor injected into the episode. I thought this was going to be a straight-forward serious soap opera, phew. :P

I labeled it a soap opera just because it parodies that more and at the time it seemed the best label for it...but really it's a romantic comedy. I would get bored making it if it wasn't at least a little funny in some parts.

I liked it and will be watching. Illy showing up was pretty funny. Thanks for a entertaining 1st episode.

I can't wait till we get further in the series!!! A great first episode, and I'm looking forward to when I can not just be a member of your cast but actually do something!!

On-topic: Love it! Good amount of humor for what looks like will become a soap opera.
Off-topic: Umm... this may not be the best place to ask, but is there a place I could go if I was wanting to lend my own voice to one/many/all the machinima makers out there? I mean aside from making my own and hoping people will say "we need that guy!"

when Illidan jumped into the scene i almost wet myself laughing. it really tickled my funny bone.
Good start. I enjoyed it.
