Around Azeroth: Redneck woman
Who says that blood elf girls are high maintenance? Julietta of <TOMI TRAKTORIN TIESULKU> on Aerie Peak (EU-H) is no shrinking violet -- she can beat animals to death with her staff and make fashionable clothing from their hides, all without scratching her blood-red manicure. She was going to be on Man Woman Wild with her ex-boyfriend, but he got a bat stuck in his hair and ran screaming back to Silvermoon City.

Great, now I'm trying to figure out a lore-compatible reason for a belf to have an Alabama drawl...
Dwainsealy Oct 18th 2010 11:14AM
I'm from Alabama and I promise that we don't all have the southern drawl! 99%? Yeah, probably. It's like living in the bizarro world when just about everyone around you shares the same speech impediment that seems to be a mandatory part of our culture. From doctors to lawyers to English teachers, the plague that is the drawl has spread and held tight like the rage virus in 28 Days.

I lives in Alabama for close to 20 years - I'm PROUD of my drawl.
Vanish Oct 17th 2010 11:16AM
Yep, laughed at the guild name. ("Tractor Tom's roadblock")
Vodkamartini Oct 17th 2010 11:27AM
My barefoot*, shotgun-toting twink belf hunter approves. Git er dun!
(*Anklet armor model -- wonder if that look is coming back in the warmer climes of Cataclysm)
/you know you're a redneck Blood Elf when you drink moonshine for mana

As someone born and raised in Mobile, Al, I just have to say .. Shut the hell up you moron. Thanx
Ametrine Oct 17th 2010 12:07PM
I was born in Mississippi. Over the course of the last three decades, I've lived in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and now North Carolina.
I am proud to be a "redneck", and do not consider it a racial slur, much less one as vulgar and offensive as calling a black man a n*gg*r.
And I want you to shut the hell up before your ignorance ends up offending some good ol' boy who is NOT as much a southern gentleman as myself and your loud mouth gets your ass tied in a knot by someone who has no qualms nor hesitations about doing so.

Stereotypes? In my COMICAL imagery?
*drops monocle to tea and drops jaw*
Ametrine Oct 17th 2010 12:31PM
I never said I would lay a finger on you.
Then again, I never said I would stop someone who did.
Gambit5555 Oct 18th 2010 2:27PM
You are obviously some sensitive little person, and a true redneck would probably kick your ass. But I'm done with this troll, he's eaten too much already
Vogie Oct 17th 2010 1:21PM
No mention that "Redneck Woman" is a country song sung by a country singer, and is a song of pride in who you are. No hate available.
Butthurt commenter is butthurt.
Tirrimas Oct 17th 2010 1:25PM
That's hawt.
Jason Oct 17th 2010 1:43PM
Butterfly, I'm curious - where are you from?
VioletArrows Oct 17th 2010 1:53PM
Julietta: *looks out the window* Thar's a grizzl'bar out'n th' trash 'gin, pa...
Pa: Bein' it Grizzly Hills, I reckon so. Jus' shoo it out with the gun inna corner.
Julietta: Lookin' kinda funny. All ghost-like... Don't think I can shoot it if it'salready dead.
Pa: Sheeee-it, girl, that's ol' Arcturis! Out ma' way! Been tryna tame that'n fer monts now!
(That's probably all wrong, my drawl lies right on the edge of the Mason-Dixon, and I would get slapped for using it.)

Hippyland? (Dun, dun dun, MOAR stereotypes!!)
shadcroly Oct 17th 2010 3:42PM
I can't be the only person who looked at the image and initially mistook the staff as a hunting rifle.
Alebeard Oct 17th 2010 3:55PM
I don't get offended if someone calls me a redneck, anymore than I get offended if someone calls me a hillbilly....I work out in the sun and my neck gets burned....I live on a hill and my first name is Billy, thus, I am a hillbilly.... :-)> (the > is my redneck/hillbilly beard)
