Raymond.. Disc is not broken by any means in Beta right now. In fact I would give the advantage to Disc over Holy right now. Holy hits with bigger heals but mana issues seem to be rampant. I had mana issues as Disc in beta for the first week or so but now mana is rarely an issue.
The playing style has completely changed. The Smite/Atonement aspect is so much fun... in the current Beta 5-mans, on pre-pull cast some shields, throw a PoM on tank, and Smite away... use a Penance or a Flash Heal where needed. As for Surge of Light, I find it procs every
15 seconds or so. A lot of people have complained about the new active version but I am liking the ability of having control of who to use it on.
