I've only read a few sample chapters of ARTHAS, but it was enough to know that I won't be buying any Golden-penned books. I understand that media tie-in writers have a mandate to follow, but, to me, her writing was the same plodding, bland, adjective-laden fantasy babble that plagues these sort of releases. There is no passion for the story being told -- it's writing by checklist. Bully for fanservice, but crap for a piece of fiction that can stand on its own.
