I found the Arthas novel to be a huge pile of rubbish. I really did not think Golden fleshed Arthas out in any degree whatsoever. Furthermore, the book was very strangely paced, having whole chapters to describe something as unnessecary as Winters Veil, but no description whatsoever of Arthas in Azjol'Nerub! Even worse, the ending (which I won't spoil here) was just plain ridiculous in my eyes, and even conflicted with in-game lore.
FURTHERMORE, Arthas just did not feel like a real character in it, several times conflicting with his own character.
FURHTERMORE!!, I really think she put waaaay to much emphasis on the Arthas loves Jaina part. Seriously - we're here to read how he became the Lich King, and what he felt as he slaughtered his own men and such - why the love? I realize that they were in love lorewise, but it just took up way too much of the book when several other places were not even touched.
I disliked it - heavily. I will not be getting this, even though I would like to read some Garrosh lore..
