Breakfast Topic: Ambassador Jenkins, Bane of The Fallen King
This Breakfast Topic has been brought to you by Seed, the Aol guest writer program that brings your words to WoW Insider's pages.
Though just a word or phrase tacked on to your name, titles hold great weight. They announce your accomplishments to the world: You are a gladiator, slayer of kings, and master of the kitchen. They can mark you as a member of an exclusive (sometimes extremely so) club. As you wander around Dalaran, others stare in awe at your insanity, your sheer dedication to your chosen path. For some, titles represent an achieved goal -- you are a seeker, loremaster, explorer, spending days trekking across continents, slaying mighty monsters and harmless critters for assorted organs. Others are incessant partiers, traveling from lunar festivals to winter celebrations always dressed for the season, fireworks in one hand, booze in the other.
Personally, I've always stuck to short titles. There is something about "Ambassador" and "The Seeker" that have always appealed to me. These titles lend a bit of mystery to my toons; am I actually seeking something, or am I just a huge The Who fan? Why is an ambassador standing naked outside of ICC? Am I really that salty?
How do you present yourself to Azeroth? Have you achieved that one goal, earned the only title you ever need? Or are you in constant flux, a new identity every week? What's your favorite title?

My tauren druid has "Guardian of Cenarius". Fitting as she is a druid, and none of my other characters will get to have that title.
...Partly because they're not druids, mostly because OH MY GOD THE GRIND.

Mine is just for fun:
'Kenlaile the Love Fool'

i've been "Salty" since winning the fishing tourney...except for the week after attaining "Loremaster".
Brewmaster and The Patient get some play time, depending upon the situation.

Can never go wrong with unobtainable titles anymore. I love wearing my 'Corporal' title back from Vanilla.
gewalt Oct 19th 2010 8:38AM
lol I proudly display "Scout" on my shaman just to make people ask questions.

hehe yeah i do this too. Lt. Commander on my mage and Knight on my priest. I'm sad that they are going away in cata, not that I care about other people getting the titles, but just because I happen to like those titles and since that mage is gonna be stuck at 60 forever, i can't re-earn the title for her :( maybe we'll get grandfathered in...
Souvraya Oct 19th 2010 11:03AM
Corporal Souvraya at your disposal, SIR!
I might wear a new title for a day or so, but I always go back to my corporal title. :)

Master Sergeant here! I love my Vanilla PVP titles the best, because they really aren't attainable anymore (until Cata anyways). It really trips people out when my wife's Draenei Shammy sports her Master Sergeant title. Think about it...
The Dark Wayne [Planeteer: Power of the Batusi] Oct 19th 2010 11:50AM
@jimmy wow, how did she get that?
BesQpie Oct 20th 2010 7:52AM
General Besqpie here! Will be a shame to lose that title, I havn't worn any other since blizz let you keep your highest achieved.
Oh well im only 1000 or so kills from "Of the Horde" which will use when I have General taken from me :(

I'm a somewhat casual player, but rep grind titles are much easier to achieve than raid titles because I can do them in short bursts rather than 4-hour sessions. I got Bloodsail Admiral on my death knight and Argent Champion on my hunter. I managed to join and set up PuG raids and got Champion of the Frozen Wastes on my death knight which I will be displaying post-cataclysm as it will show I played back in the good ol' days, like Hand of Ad'al shows now. Kingslayer would be my ultimate title but I'd never be able to keep up a regular raid schedule.

I usually have the most recent holiday achievement title on, then I change it when the next one comes around.
Pat Oct 19th 2010 8:25AM
Depends on the Character. My Dwarf always displays "the Explorer" because it just kind of fits that race.
My Draenei Shaman however.. I don't know. I've always liked the sound of "Loremaster" or "the Argent Champion"
Kicking myself for never getting "Champion of the Naaru"

My main has been rocking the Ambassador Title since the day it was obtained. =D My alts don't really rock titles. Except my Brewmaster Dwarf Hunter. The other alts only have "the Patient" titles and that's kinda boring so I don't display those.
nick ward Oct 19th 2010 8:27AM
Zerô Light of Dawn really does it for me :) Hardest boss i have ever defeted and i wear the title with pride.
wllmsgame Oct 19th 2010 8:27AM
I always go with "the Hallowed" on my Forsaken Warrior. For some reason Rothide the Hallowed fills me with pride.
Shadowstorm Oct 19th 2010 8:27AM
Guardian of Cenarius is the title I am working on. I had the BC rep already because of the Mace that was a must have for druid tanks. However, I had never completed the Sithilus grind. My husband leveled a Boomkin a couple of months ago and he has already gotten the title on his. Now it is a matter of saving face to get mine lol. Once I have it will probably be the one title I wear consistently. I would also like "of the Twilight". There is just something about Nightflight of the Twilight that appeals to me :).

Blasted html coding :P
'Kenlaile the Love Fool'
'[Has No Pants]'
Cyrus Oct 19th 2010 8:29AM
I have a ton of titles on my main, just because I'm a bit of an achievement whore, but the one I'm using is "the Insane", which I'll probably continue to use until they add a title "the Totally Awesome", as a reward for finishing the dungeon set 2 quest chain.
gewalt Oct 19th 2010 8:32AM
I like the rarer titles. I have "The Exalted" on my dk and "The Seeker" on my lock.
