No, the new HAT bug (AFAIK, and i believe its been fixed), was when anyone else in your party crit on a mob you werent targeting (say in heavy AoE), you would gain a CP on that mob, and lose all your CPs on your current target.

Unless theres another new HAT bug im unaware of.
