Spriests have evolved slightly, where suddenly we have several things that should be used on cooldown. We got comfortable with the 4pc t10 almost completely dropping MB from the rotation; not so now. MB we use on mastery proc, shadowfiend is up roughly every 45 seconds - 1 minute (assuming you are at a goodly amount of crit), and an (even while nerfed) honest to god execute.Mana issues? Shadowfiend isn't something you whip out here and again as it used to be. You should be using it every time it is available to you. Over 15 seconds it does quite a bit of damage on top of the mana return. 10k melee hits from the little bugger? Noms.(To give you an idea, my guild completed H Marrowgar 25 in 2:08. Shadowfiend, between myself and our other shadow priest, did roughly 500k. For a 3:53 H BQL 25, 1M with neither of us having been bitten.)Pre-nerf SW:D was responsible for a godly amount of damage, especially as an execute. Now, it is still definitely better served as such...but is really your only instant when you're on the move, and if you're STILL having mana issues, masochism is your other mana regen. Dispersion always has been a terrible way to regen mana because it costs you 6 seconds of doing NOTHING. It better serves as a damage cooldown. And with any luck, your raid/group has mana spring and/or other replenishments (we have 3 destro locks and a ret pally, and another spriest :D).DPS on trash is just something retarded to bitch about. Sorry guys, but quit the QQ. So Mind Sear is absolute garbage now...quit being lazy. It's really pretty simple: VT & SW:P on each mob. DP on the one you focus. MF, MB, SW:D. Whatever. If you do it right you keep up with mages and boomkins who AoE their asses off in raids. As for heroics... well... I heal heroics. @Aberlainarrol - I feel you. I do. Your shadow priest has bad gear (t9 was broken, crap trinkets, ICC 5man stuff is what, 232 or something?) and you ran into 2 bad groups. But how many heroics have you run on her since the patch? I'm willing to bet more often than not a well-geared group looks at the numbers and goes, "Oh, well that makes since. I have gear and front end damage, and this spriest doesn't." If they even look at numbers.I don't mean to sound grumpy about the amount of bitching going on about shadow priests. We got buffed, and in a big way. Not to the extent say, booms locks and mages did, but it's always been that way. I'm just happy that this spec actually got some attention instead of leftovers.

Just shoot me now. Did I really say "since" instead of "sense"?Brb, suicide.
