Pretty good column overall, but one thing I kept wondering: why keep Guarded by the light in the pure tanking build? Are there many tanks on progression that reliably use Word of Glory?I've honestly been wondering about the use of WoG at lvl 80 content: i'd much rather push for Hallowed ground and its marginal threat increase than use 2 talents points for a spell I will never cast on serious content.Same story for the dungeon hero: Reckoning has an INSANE uptime in heroic dungeons. Aren't we better off without GbtL?On a somewhat related note: I've read a couple of topics on maintankadin that seriously downplayed Grand Crusader's usefulness: our rotation is so filled to the brim that we cannot often afford to slip a proc in our rotation. I read it was a good trash talent, but not for bosses. I'm honestly expecting that to be changed in the near future, but until then, is Grand Crusader really worth *much*? Still better than GbtL, but definitly inferior to Reckoning and perhaps even Hallowed Ground.

I'm not raiding at this point, but I absolutely love Grand Crusader procs. I'd have to double check my damage meters, but I'm seeing 10k+ crits from Avenger's Shield, which is quite a bit more than many of my other abilities. Any opportunity to slip it in has been worthwhile so far. Word of Glory is iffy for me, though, at least for raiding. It seems as though the bubble it provides is exclusive with Power Word: Shield, so the only its usefulness is marginally reduced. If you don't trust your healers, or there's more damage in a short period than they can handle, I guess that's where you'd want it.

I'm sure regular LK 10man isn't what you consider progression content or serious content, but I start alternating SotR and WoG once I have a large enough lead over the DPS in threat. I can keep my threat high through the generic "rotation" and the occasional (very) large SotR crit from Sacred Duty plus Avenger's Shield spam.Maybe it's not necessary, but as I see it...every little bit helps. As for Grand Crusader, there are times when the proc slips because I'm focusing on CS/SotR but other times it procs right when I've hit a dead zone. So, the usefulness fluctuates a lot. Either way, the chance to throw out another 10k holy damage is worth it in my eyes.

@Hal, I have to agree with you, when I'm in tank spec, I'm normally top for dps, or 2nd. "On a somewhat related note: I've read a couple of topics on maintankadin that seriously downplayed Grand Crusader's usefulness: our rotation is so filled to the brim that we cannot often afford to slip a proc in our rotation."I'm willing to be called a noob here, but even with a 3sec CS / HotR, and using shield of the righteous at 3 hopo, I still have time to hit that proc. Am I missing something?
