A big "feature" of BC was whirlwinds on melée that the tank would call out in case the melée had action bar tunnel vision. The reason was simple, not getting out of there in 2 or less hits meant you went poof. There were tons of effects like this where melée had to run out, spread out or do something far from the boss to stay alive. So often you would see my shaman run out, wait, and then run in behind the rogues who all popped sprint. In Hyjal I at least got to use Ghost Wolf. This gives Ret something similar. Heck: Marrowgar. You can get back in melée range in no time if he is on the far side of the room after his top impression , Putricide dps time after a slime. Rotface after a slime.
