Killing the Lich King for the first time was definitely the most memorable moment I've had not just in wow, but maybe all of gaming. I put it up there with the ends of FF7 and FF8, as well as the ending of WC3. Arthas' story is by far the longest, most fleshed out, most memorable and meaningful one I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The concluding battle is the best boss fight I have ever done in any game, period.
I'm still not that enthralled by the cutscene at the end, it was the battle itself and the conclusion to the battle (tirion breaking frostmourne, then being rezzed by terenas menethil) after a long, hard, and fun fight that just made that first "Kingslayer" one of the, if not the most memorable moments in gaming history.
Can't speak for everyone else, but I definitely got choked up on that last 10% and just after. With a little less testosterone in me and I might actually have cried. It was just that good.
