I grew up playing Warcraft 1,2 & 3 so, entering Stormwind for the first time almost made me squeal with joy. Especially seeing the statues of Khadgar, Turalyon et all in the front of it. A little later, I was floored at the seamless transition between zones when I moved to Westfall. WoW was my first REAL MMO. I had played Guild Wars earlier and was used to instanced areas but this was all totally new.

Other than the moments of awe in questing and exploring (Winterspring, Loch Modan, Nagrand etc etc) my favorite moment ever will still be Ragnaros making his first appearance, pwning Majordomo and screaming out BY FIRE BE PURGED! I miss Molten Core :P
