There've been a lot of moments of astonishment over the years, things like entering the Barrens, riding Zepps, Karazhan, Nagrand, Netherstorm, the engines of Storm Peaks, but what really stands out for me is one moment. I'd gone through life as an Ally lowbie without ever completing Deadmines, preferring my Hordeside main to her. So one day, some Hordeside guildies decide to head over to Westfall for a quick Deadmines run, just for fun. We sneak in and massacre our way through, easily getting past the forge, where I'd been massacred before. I hang back a bit, looting and such, letting everyone who's seen it, run on ahead. Rather bored, I run through the next set of doors and suddenly the tiny tunnels that I thought were the whole of Deadmines opens out into this MASSIVE cavern, with right in the centre, this HUUUUUGE ship I recognise as a Horde Juggernaut from WC2. Just the unexpectedness of the moment and the sudden grandeur have always stuck in my mind as a moment of wonder.
