Honestly, I don't have a good answer for this, since my scribe has all the recipes, but I believe it prevents you from queuing them if you are unable to craft them.

Referring to the second picture in the post, you'll notice 3 red "squares". The first one is the number of that glyph hes has queued to craft. By left clicking on the glyph name, you add it to crafting queue. The second box is the number of those glyphs currently on the market. The last box shows the lowest buyout of that glyph current available.
I like this add-on, because it puts that vital information right on hand.
