I agree. Very nice work on that Jaina costume; simple yet elegant. Jaina would be proud. I also really like the person dressed in the Mage Tier 5. I hope the sheep pet is a polymorphed Warlock.

It's the perfect wig. And she's also mastered the human females' god-awful vapid stare. Damn good craftsmanship on the outfit.. not loving the staff though.

This is almost as good as the freak gallery I saw on the WoW 5th anniversary website (the send-your-photo for the mosaic thing).

It's a Con dude, people dress up as their favorite characters for these things and nobody who's there is going to think in the least that someone is making a fool of themselves for doing so.
Plus, not everyone cares what the public thinks of them. It's a good mindset to have infact, just be yourself

They are at a convention with a costume contest that has prizes.
Everyone there knows what the costumes are.
How exactly does this count as "making a fool of yourself in public" at a private venue where the word of the day is geek and everyone is taking pictures because the costumes are something they like?
I had a class where the final project was to show up "dressed foolishly". The winners were a pair of guys in jeans and t-shirts. The reason: "In a building full of people dressed ridiculously, the people that stood out like sore thumbs were the normals"
Enioy the costumes an quit making fun of people enjoying themselves on a site dedicated to something you, yourself enjoy that would get you branded a weirdo by the norms.

Its fun? People do the same thing at other cons. Beside are they hurting you? Are the interfering with your ability to play this game or to read news about WoW? No, they are not, so keep your silly comments to yourself.
