I want to add that the sentiment on the official forums is that the naming of the elemental is a glitch. The thread is filled with people saying those who name their mage pets will be subject to bans as they are breaking the rules by using a hunter command that is bugged. I cannot imagine Blizzard handing out bans for naming a pet, but I would like to see an official response given.
