Do not want. There were complains in WotLK regarding Arthas' omnipresence in every zone, which lead to some lack of epicness when we finally get to face him. Blizzard promised they won't do this for Cataclysm. But lo and behold. We get to see Deathwing every damn time we have to login. By the time I get to face him, I'd probably just go: "Oh, it's you again >.>"

By the way, some of the login screen concepts (photos of which are found in MMO-Champion) are way better than this one. (see: http://media.mmo-champion.com/images/news/2010/october/b2k10_artpanel_07.jpg)Personally, I wanted the login screens to be randomly generated and give a view of the Old Azeroth (pre-Shattering) just so the game can still use the old files.

Arthas' presence was not the major issue, it was the cartoony-supervillain "I could kill you, but I'll let you live until next time" thing that devalued him.Deathwing, on the other hand, shows up in maybe two quests that I've seen in the Beta (outside of the ones in Badlands, which don't count). The only other in-game appearances he makes are random occurrences when he shows up in a zone and kills everybody inside it. You get an achievement for being killed by him in this manner.

@Iirdan: What? Really?! He shows up to zones and kills everyone in them? That's AWESOME!

Well, not quite *everyone* in the zone - from what I've seen in beta, he'll fly across and light a good chunk of the map on fire. It's certainly possible to be around when it happens and live, but if you're in the path you are gone.
