Yeah, um... That's why he's perched on top of Stormwind's gates, and the Park is now a smoldering crater.

So in canon, the Alliance are the ones who officially killed both Onyxia and Nefarion? Or did he also visit Orgrimmar for one of them?

Horde adventurers killed Nefarion and Saurfang put his head on a pike. To cut a long story short, Varian Wrynn himself killed Onyxia.
