It would be really sweet to own a piece of a server millions of players have used! Being sold for a good cause too. I wonder how much it will go for.

Agreed, and I have to admire Blizzard's creativity with that one. That would be such a great thing to have on display.
Also, further kudos to Blizzard for promoting such a great cause. I hope this auction makes Child's Play a lot of money and makes a lot of children happy.

Honestly? They are a lot bigger than I thought they would be.
To think that that huge server blade propped on it's side was just ONE of the servers running ONE realm. Figure that each realm is 4 of those, one for each contintent, and then there's probably 10 or more of those (shared between servers) hosting instances. Wow.
The length of it is what surprises me most. I had no idea those server cabinets were that LONG.

Awesome painting. Those are the new characters for the upcoming Horde graphic novel from DC comics.
