Even if they don't fall apart or become mindless over time, If they're out there fighting against the Alliance and all the myriad unfriendly things in the world many of them are going to end up re-dead in a manner that is not conducive to re-reanimation, such as burned to ash, smashed to a gooey pulp, ripped apart, dissolved in acid... it's surprisingly fun to think of the ways.
